Powered by Advanced Neutralization Technology, the formula concentrates and guides lightening actives deep into the hair cortex to help break down eumelanin and pheomelanin for consistent, predictable neutralization and cleaner blonde results.
Its conditioning-cream texture provides precision glide and smooth application with no swelling, making it especially suited for detailed lightening techniques. The formula maintains curl definition and is suitable for all hair types and textures as well as both on- and off-scalp services.
Blonde IQ 8 is ideal for balayage, on-scalp regrowth, foils, mèche, and freehand painting and is calibrated exclusively for use with Redken Pro-Oxide Oil Developers.

Professional Application
On-Scalp:
Mix at 1:2 or 1:3 with Redken Pro-Oxide Oil Developer.
- 1:2 = 15 g cream + 30 mL developer
- 1:3 = 15 g cream + 45 mL developer
- Use 10V or 20V maximum
- Process for up to 50 minutes
Off-Scalp:
For balayage, foils, mèche, and freehand techniques:
- 1:1.5 = 15 g cream + 22.5 mL developer — 10V, 20V, or 30V
- 1:2 = 15 g cream + 30 mL developer — 10V or 20V
- 30V is limited to a 1:1.5 ratio for off-scalp application
- Process for up to 50 minutes
Do not use heat during processing. Prepare in a well-ventilated area using non-metallic tools, use the mixture immediately after preparation, and discard any remaining mixture.
